Stonington
Cabin fever reliever

Brilliant Traces

This weekend at the Stonington Opera House, theater-goers can see playwright Cindy Lou Johnson’s take on the winter doldrums in Brilliant Traces, “a dark, romantic situation comedy set ‘in the state of Alaska, in the middle of nowhere’ in a howling blizzard, [which] delivers a new and heightened perspective on the Maine winter phenomenon of ‘cabin fever.’” Peter Richards, left, a Stonington summer resident, directs Tommy Piper and Stephanie Dodd (Opera House Shakespeare alums) in the dark sitcom February 4-7 at the Opera House. Shows are at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. For tickets and more information, visit www.operahousearts.org or call 367-2788.
